The official logo of the 8th World Congress for Hair Research was created to symbolize hair growth inside the hair follicle. Inside the hair follicle, you can see Dolharubang, a statue carved from a block of basalt, which is the most representative feature of Jeju culture. The colorful logo represents a wide variety of hair color shades.

Jeju is such a magnificent island full of wonder and beauty that it has recently been selected as one of the world's "New Seven Wonders of Nature". WCHR 2014, a platform for the exchange of expertise and experience in the "marvelous" field of hair research will take place on this "fabulous" island. Therefore, participants will get a sense of what it means the WCHR 2014 theme: Wonder of Nature, Wonder of Hair.
